lol but this site is actually slighty incorrect in what being said, ive seen this before its a very old story from few years back off quakenet....
the guys (teens) were playing an online game it may of even been ut2004, one guy got banned from the game server after laming..
in irc the convo took place like on the site as posted..
the tool wasnt a hack tool it was RPC shutdown application written in c+ or vb etc...
server admins use them to reboot remote servers except ms have now blocked the rpc with most patches becuase of the potentical to exploit.
the guy ran his app perhap his more leaned m8 gave him and not knowing anythign about network asked for the ip, the other guy pinging his machine name and of cource it returns 127.0.0.1 (localhost address). the guy says as posted 'haha im gonna fuck you' and typed in the ip which of cource is everyones own local ip in windows rofl so the hacker guys pc rebooted rofl !!!!
incidently i wrote an app that does the same and tryied it on andymc one night a few years back, unfortuanly he was running xp so it didnt work.
great hack tbh NOT but very funny neverless !!
