Well basically SoD was idea sparked from some ideas by Paddy, a taxi driver from Glasgow and good m8 of mine and known to most SoDs !
He had tried a few times in 2004 and early 2005 to form a clan, he didn't have a clue tbh neither did we (Princess_Fiona, Whelk, {BS}_Scorpion & myself) so a few posts on a dm forum by Paddy after we have played the map DM-Kitchen one night and things started to pickup...

As you can see Scorp sort of made alot of this happen even though he didnt have a clue nor I tbh, but with help from myself we did pretty well as a team... We elected Fitspire as our clan leader becuase he seemed to have some good clan knolweadge at the time.
Pops and Shin had joined us, Satans_Meyhem, Proximo & Scorps best m8 Skyrat and a few others and we started playing on 'BB's Server', yep hosted at my home on a DSL 1mb line ffs lol. But it actually helped us and brought us all together as clan and we started playing matches in clanbase !
Then this guy called Olly_k posted in our recruitment section 'Can i Join also ?' tbh, this was great becuase we had seen olly playing before and he was to us a great player at the time (and still is lol) and had clan experience. Monkfish left RDH clan and joined us by this time. Then Sh!te aka Pariah (Ray) also requested to join and made a great addition to the clan, a former ut99 clan player. A very strong all round player like Olly.
Paddy and Fits fell out and Fits booted Paddy, which again effected the clan. One of the peeps wanting to join us shortly after was a french dude with a good dm background, we all knew him so we thought why not, he had a awsome nack with the sheildgun, he was of cource Kirtap !! (aka Patrik backwards !)
Proximo, BT & Tenacious left the clan after a despute with Firtpire which sort of effected the clan somewhat again. The clan wasnt all that happy with Fitspire at this point.
A week or so later a new lad with a very good aim also wanted to join, he used to play alot of insta, anyways Fitpire decided to play him 1on1 and got totally owned by this guy lol, we thought cool this guy is great so we took him onboard his name of cource was CrushALL !!
We decided to create a site for SoD as we didnt have one, and so was born with some elbow grease from Olly and me the SoD Clan website !
Sod were starting to make waves in clanbase, we had quite a few wins under out belts by now (July 2005). Then another young lad wanted to join us but had not all that long started playing ut2004, so we gave him a long trial to see if he would improve, he did and became an excellent player and so was born [SoD]_KurlyDude !
For some mad reason we had elected Fitspire to be our 1st clan leader, a mistake which most of us all found out when the guy resorted to excessive alcohol consumption and abuse towards the clan memebers which led to us booting the guy from the clan. For me and Scorp it was the hardest thing todo but needed to be done to save the clan tbh.
I forced Scorp to be CL (he didnt actually want the job at first) and I took scorps old job as co-leader and we elected Olly as Clan Admin and clanbase arranger.
Back on track again (end of August 2005) we got back all the players that had been booted by the ex-clan leader. One of the peeps was Tenacious a good m8 who I kept in contact with and played on BB's alot and eventually we got him back in the clan.
Two m8s from OZ clan decided to leave and tag along with us SoDs, Laggafragga aka Tweeka and SexySam aka Essexymomma !
Morning_Star left the clan becuase he needed to study at uni etc. Shintaro wanted to play more whith his spanish m8s and although he didnt want to leave us..left to join a his mates in a clan. (we still miss Shin but he does join us for TAM some nights :-)). Me and Shin used to play loads of Invasion rpg, with Scorp, Tena, Crush & Kirtap!
Around Nov 2005 The UK clan Nataurious Killerz (NK) crumbled and some left to make a new Euro clan called 'immortal', those left over decided they wanted to join SoD..
Jan 2005 Unrealnexus.com goes live after 1 month of hard work by Olly & myself getting servers up and running etc.
NeXus TAM was born ! Tweek@ aka Laggafragga joined SoD !
SoD site mark 2 was created with newer portal-forums version Olly got, although weve never really liked it tbh lol.(its gone now ole ! )
After some time late January 2005 it was quite evident that alot of SoDs were uncomfortable with the nk integration so the ex-nk'ers left to form a new clan of thier own.
Sod were back to normal but unfortunatly we lost Pariah becuase of the upset who went to play BF2 with his m8s, and Monk decideded to join the new cp clan with Whelk also. (SoD still keep in contact with whelk, Monk (when he is online) and Ray (aka Pariah) now helps Admin Unrealnexus.com).
I also left SoD too, but that was for my own good then, as i needed a break from it all. Princess also took time out ! I elected olly as Co-Leader to fill my shoes with Scorps approval, and Scorp found some use for Sky by making him WA.
SoD then recruited a very good 'old skool' player called Fly, great player whos sounds like he is flying a 747 on TS tbh lol and a good m8 of ours !
We also took on Destruction a former DM player who used to play loads on DA server a very keen individual whos aim is to own Scorp one day
SoD were playing alot with Just Clan who had gone into hibernation so we played with a few m8s there, Chucky decided to leave Just and join SoD ! which was great for SoD as he was a good m8 of most members, v good with bio !!
in the months to pass, Trance and Dissa joined SoD and Sam aka Essexymomma got her trial ! on the 13th may SoD beat mi5 in 4v4 tam and secured a better position up the tam ladder!
in July SoD won a close TAM 4v4 match against immortal 10-9 10-9 which was well deserved!
August 2006 saw the biggest event in SoD history the SoD meetup, where we all met in real life ! (check out the forum section).
Essexymomma, Punchout, Phaniax, Diac joined as full Sod members ! Princess came back after timeout !
