Well I havnt tried yet and I dunno what to download if I need to dl something how to start a TAM game on a lan,
Im going for a LAN now in this weekend and I wanna play TAM with my friends so they dont need to run and check after weapons and such , what do I need to download, does their computers dl the latest patch from me and tam version , or do i need to get a seperate cd with patch and tam version to install on their cpus, plz help me with this....
Plz tell me everything about starting a LAN on UT anyway  |

MooooAH noone can answer? wtf suck the blind mans child I need an answer on this latest saturday, OLLY ? TWEEKA? BB ? Somebody else I wanna have TAM playable on th LAN plz ! |

ok the BB will work some magic...
dude goto www.3spn.com
download TAM 3.14 etc
unzip to a folder then copy the contents of the 'System' folder to your c:\ut2004\system folder!!
start ut2004
and now TAM will be integrated with your UT !
Network LAN UT2004...
dead easy...
get all yet pc's connected to a 100mb hub /router / switch etc
then 1 person in UT2004 who has installed TAM as above needs to goto 'Create Game' to make a Listen Server , on the create game menu select the TAM gametype , then you define the starting map or maplists then configure game options ie speed bots and stuff then mutators etc...
then he click play or start etc and he goes into his own Listen server ready to play...
then all the other dudes on the LAN need to go in ut2004 to the Join Game option and click the LAN tab and the Listen Server will show up !!

oh i suggest the dude that has the best and fastest more memory pc be the one who runs the Listen Server.
dont forget if you need maps to download them before hand from the map websites etc and share em on the lan so eveyone can copy em to thier c:\ut2004\maps folder etc
id recommend getting all the comunity bonus map packs downloaded and burnt off to a dvd etc that you can all share round to install to your maps folder etc.
do not use cached maps as sometimes the static meshes and texture packs are sometimes missing etc.
