Best TFT for FPS games ? |

Yo guys !
I need advice to buy my new screen ! I'm actually using a CRT screen, so there is no latency problems etc., but I need to switch to a TFT one because of space on my desk.
I'm really interested by the Samsung Syncmaster 226BW but there are 3 types of this screen (type S (the best one), type A (not as good as type S ones), type C (crapiest shit) and there are more chance to get a type C (the most producted)...This is annoying because this screen is the best one for FPS games (in type S), so I'm really hesitating to buy it.
Do you know another TFT screen which would be awesome to play FPS games (it means with low latency....closer to CRT screens)...I don't care about "wide" or not, and the size can be till 19", but I would prefer a screen over 20", indeed ^^

i switched to a tft for the same reason as you not so long ago.
i have the Benq FP93GX now, and i am very happy with it.
its 19" silver, DVI and VGA port, 2ms latency, 800:1 contrast, very good... erm how do you say that... lightdistribution?
anyway, i payed 340 CHF which is about 210 Euros i think.
i play ut2k4, css, battlefield2, serious sam 2, and need for speed.
and i never had the feeling the tft is too slow or something

Yeah, I had a look at this screen when I started my researches. I don't remember why I changed to Samsungs ones...maybe because the sceen size + high pitch + maximum screen resolution.
Anyway, I'll have a look again at this scrren if you say it's really ok

i have the 226BW S panel. it rocks. buy it.
and ut supports native widescreen resolutions |

yeah, I would buy a 226BW S if it was possible to find one with closed eyes....but as I said, the mostly produced is the type C which is a real crap compared to the S one...
Anyway, if you know where I can buy a S one, I'm interested |
