i have to admit it seems miles faster than mine, Vista depending on what version you get is excellent for games, mainly becuase the windows driver support is a lot faster for DX etc, you aparently can see upto %50 increase in game speeds (depending on compatable hardware and drivers for Vista).
i forgot to mention its a socket 939 so a tad old by mobo standards but still good.
as for Nvidia cards the only reason i always buy NVidia is becauase all the games i play and the kids play are best played on Nvidia etc (like unreal etc).
btw.. ATI catalist center app thing is incompatable with Vista as i found out, so ive no way of tweeking the gpu, the driver works fine.
so if your an ATI user and gonna use Vista don't, wait until the better drivers are out !!
an ati x16/1800 series card will run alot better with the chipset than a nvidia jobbie tho!
